Introducing VFFF's Youth Advisory Group!

Following a successful inaugural Young Advisory Group (YAG) serving a two-year term, VFFF recently welcomed a new cohort of seven young people, aged 18 to 30, living in or connected to rural Australia.

Drawing on their experiences as young people from the bush, the YAG continue to play an integral role in VFFF’s work by shortlisting applicants for the Backing The Future program and providing guidance to the VFFF team on how to best back young people.

VFFF Youth Advisory Group

They have hit the ground running, convening in Sydney in July for their Induction Meeting and have recently undertaken the shortlisting process for Cohort 5 of Backing The Future. VFFF has been thoroughly impressed by their proactive engagement in the role, and has confidence that this group will enhance VFFF's grant-making approach.

Each member brings a diverse array of passions, experiences, and perspectives from across the social sector. Get to know more about them below.
