A new home for the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship

On 5 March 2019, Vincent Fairfax Ethics in Leadership Foundation (VFELF) endorsed entering into a Strategic Alliance Agreement with The Cranlana Program Foundation.

This Agreement means that delivery of the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship was transferred from Ormond College to Cranlana on 31 March 2019. We anticipate a University partnership later in the year will establish the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership, which will deliver both the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship and Cranlana programs.

A key objective of the Alliance is to maintain the core purpose of the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship and other associated activities – promotion of the understanding and strengthening of ethical leadership practices in Australian society, in honour of Sir Vincent Fairfax.

VFELF and Cranlana have committed to building a national profile for the Centre and to growing its Sydney presence by conducting an equal number of Vincent Fairfax Fellowship activities in Sydney and Melbourne.

Cranlana and VFELF will each be celebrating their 25th anniversaries during 2019 and have agreed to a combined celebration in July.

We look forward to Cranlana delivering its first Vincent Fairfax Fellowship activities in June 2019.
