Latest grants - March 2026

This quarter, VFFF approved three grants totalling $1,700,000.

Anglican Youthworks

$850,000 over two years towards the Ministry Support Team’s core operations, including their accessibility ministry and work with new communities.

Cairns South Together

$260,000 over three years to support the Youth Voice Project, a place-based initiative empowering young people in Cairns South to shape the future of their community. VFFF will co-fund a total of $520k over three years alongside Hand Heart Pocket.

Equitable Career Pathways

$590,000 to extend the prac placement payment for one more year to eligible Paramedicine students from Charles Sturt University and University of the Sunshine Coast. Data gathered will be shared with Commonwealth Dept of Education as part of advocacy efforts to expand the Commonwealth Prac Placement.
